Conference: SportAsia partners with Sports Matters in Singapore

Sport Matters logo_fiNALSeptember 16, 2013: SportAsia has been confirmed as a media partner of the inaugural Sports Matters conference, which will be held at The St Regis Singapore on September 18-19, ahead of the Singtel Singapore Grand Prix.


Focused on ‘Sport in Asia, Asia in Sport’, SportAsia is a new multi-media platform currently fronted by, which features news and insights about leading sports events in Asia and around the world, along with industry developments from an Asian perspective.


Co-presented by Samsung and Fox Sports, the two-day Sports Matters is supported by the Singapore Sports Council and the Singapore Tourism Board, and is expected to attract up to 300 delegates, led by some of the industry’s biggest names.


Speakers at the conference include Stacey Allaster, Chairman and CEO of the WTA; Giles Morgan, HSBC’s Group Head of Sponsorship and Events; Andrew Georgiou, CEO of World Sport Group; and Prinz Mathew Pinakatt, Global Director Alliances and Ventures of The Coca-Cola Company.


Sports Matters, which will mark the launch of the Asian Sponsorship Association, costs US$850 for two days and is co-produced by Branded and Haymarket Media, the international publisher of Campaign, F1 Racing and FourFourTwo magazines.
