Industry: GlobalSportsJobs launches Asia-focused website 615a


October 22, 2014: Global Sports and Media Group, owners of GlobalSportsJobs, has launched, its new Chinese-English platform developed specifically for the Asian sports market.


The new platform will allow organisations greater access to talent in one of the world’s fastest-growing sports markets and founding partners include high-profile organisations such as The Hong Kong Jockey Club, the NBA, Infront Sports and Media, The Hong Kong Sports Institute and LeTV.


The Asia-Pacific region has experienced enormous growth over recent years, with future growth being fuelled by major events such as the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan and the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo. The 2022 Winter Olympic Games is also set to be held in Asia, in either Beijing or Almaty, before Qatar hosts the 2022 FIFA World Cup.


GlobalSportsJobs’ new Chinese-language platform, the first of its kind for Chinese-language employees in the sports industry, will host a wide range of job opportunities from entry level to senior management positions and deliver career intelligence and market insights.
