September 17, 2014: Malaysian stars Peter Davis and Ann Osman will fight in front of their home fans next month after being added to One FC: Roar of Tigers, which will be held on October 17 at Stadium Putra in Kuala Lumpur.

Four new bouts have been added to the previously announced headline bout between ‘Ruthless’ Rob Lisita and Russian featherweight Marat Gafurov.

Davis, 33, will return to the cage to take on Filipino Vaughn Donayre. A Wuji Chuan exponent, Davis has been the face of MMA in Malaysia, with the lightweight a prominent celebrity with a long list of modelling and acting roles on his resume.

The Dubai-based Donayre won his first seven MMA fights, but the Cebu native who quit his mechanical engineering job to become a fighter has lost his last two, including his One FC debut in Dubai last month.

Osman, 28, is fast emerging as a Malaysian superstar and is looking forward to fighting in front of her home fans for the first time as she takes on Aya Saeid Saber of Egypt.

Osman enjoyed her first MMA win in Dubai last month when she earned a unanimous-decision win over former boxing champion Ana Julaton, who had beaten Saber in her MMA debut. Osman lost her MMA debut to Sherilyn Lim in Singapore last year, but the Borneo Tribal Squad fighter was denied a rematch in Kuala Lumpur earlier this year when the Singaporean failed to make weight.

Malaysian bantamweight Marc Marcellinus will face Belgium-based Thai Anatpong Bunrad, and Thai featherweight Tanaphong Khunhankaew tackles Pakistani MMA pioneer Bashir Ahmad in the other two new fights added to the 10-bout card.

Victor Cui, CEO of One FC, said: “One FC: Roar of Tigers is going to rock Stadium Putra once again with a stacked card filled with the best fighters in the world looking to be victorious inside the One FC cage. Our main event already promises an unforgettable evening of world-class mixed martial arts action, but these additional four bouts will bring unparalleled intensity and excitement.”
