One FC’s new cooperation with Facebook will be evident at Friday’s Battle of Lions in Singapore.

November 4,2014: One FC has teamed up with Facebook to offer live social media integration with One FC’s global TV broadcast, which includes a 10-year cable television deal with Fox and STAR Sports to deliver coverage in over 70 countries.

As part of the new cooperation, a new hosted segment featuring social media data by Facebook will be integrated with One FC’s global broadcast on TV and the in-arena experience. One FC’s next fight night is ‘Battle Of Lions’ in Singapore this Friday, while the organisation has also events in Dubai, Taipei, Manila, Phnom Penh, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and other cities around Asia.

Victor Cui, CEO of One FC, said: “The collaboration with Facebook is exciting on so many levels for One FC. Facebook is clearly the leading social media platform in the world today and our collaboration with them shows our clear commitment to work with the best of the best brands globally.

“With more than 99 per cent of our fans around the world already following us and interacting with us through Facebook, the decision to integrate social media data on our live global broadcast is a natural step forward as we forge ahead as the largest sports media property in the history of Asia.”

At each fight night, fans in the arena will now be able to keep in touch with what fans are saying about the fights through a special live Facebook segment presented by Natalia Tang Ling, first runner-up of Miss Universe Malaysia 2013 and TV host.

One FC’s official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/onefcmma), which has over 1.4 million followers, will feature live updates and a live Q&A segment hosted by MMA superstar Rich Franklin.

Ken Cheung, Head, Public Content Partnerships (APAC), Facebook, said: “People love talking about sports on Facebook – whether it’s motorsports, the World Cup or MMA. We are excited to work with One FC to extend the conversations that happen onsite at One FC events and bring that online on to Facebook.”

Also, One FC will be arranging an exclusive ‘Instameet’ with popular Instagrammers in Singapore ahead of the fight. The Instameet will allow a select group of Instagrammers to have a peek behind-the-scenes of One FC before the doors of the Singapore Indoor Stadium are open to the public. To follow the story, fans are invited to engage with ONE FC’s official Instagram account (@onefcmma).

Fans around Asia can watch the action live on Fox Sports 3 or via live streaming at www.onefc.livesport.tv (US$9.99). For tickets, visit: www.sportshubtix.com.
