MMA: Taiwanese star Jenny Huang to make ONE debut in Yangon

July 15, 2015: Jenny Huang of Taiwan will make her ONE Championship debut when she takes on Russian debutant Elena Pashnina in a female atomweight bout at the upcoming ‘Kingdom of Warriors’ in Yangon, ONE’s first event in Myanmar.
Huang has a 1-0 record having won a decision in her last fight in another promotion. The Taiwanese is the Philippines Asia Open white belt Gi and No-Gi champion, and holds a white belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a black belt in Judo.
Pashnina, 20, is based in Chengdu, China and will be making her pro MMA debut. Holding a black belt in Sanda, the Russian boasts well-rounded stand-up skills, incorporating wrestling and various mixed martial arts components into her striking game.
Bibiano ‘The Flash’ Fernandes will defend his ONE bantamweight title against challenger Toni Tauru in the headline bout at Thuwanna Stadium.
The event will also feature local fighters battling in the Myanmar Lightweight Tournament and Myanmar Featherweight Tournament, while Soe Htet Oo and Phyan Tway will contest a special Lethwei bout.
