September 17, 2013: Real estate investment company IP Global has come on board as a sponsor of several major sailing events run by the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club (RHKYC).

In addition to title sponsoring the IP Global Autumn Regatta, the opening event of RHKYC’s 2013-2014 sailing season, IP Global will also have a presence at the St Regis China Coast Regatta, the Audi Hong Kong to Vietnam Race and the Tommy Bahama Around the Island Race.

IP Global has also worked with other acclaimed organisations such as the deVere Group and the Singapore Polo Club, and was recently nominated byGoHome .com.hk as one of Hong Kong’s Best Overseas Property Consultants.

Mark Bovaird, General Manager of RHKYC, said: “The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club prides itself on its history, service and reputation as one of the leading yacht clubs in the world. This new partnership with IP Global is just that – a partnership with an organisation that shares these same beliefs and ambitions. We welcome IP Global as our Official Property Investment Partner this season.”

Tim Murphy, founder and CEO of IP Global, said: “We’re always looking to align our business with organisations who match our own high aspirations, and partnering with the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club doubles as a fantastic opportunity for us to continue our long-standing support of Hong Kong’s leading sporting events.

“The Autumn Regatta has always been a highlight of the calendar and an exciting way to get the season off the mark so we’re very proud to be a part of it.”

The IP Global Autumn Regatta takes place over the weekend of September 28-29 in Victoria Harbour and is the latest development in an Autumn Regatta tradition dating back to 1889.
